I have alot on my mind right now.  As I was trying to fast and pray for my leaders…I honestly found it very hard to.  I found myself being burdened to pray for something else…for Oak Grove…for a specific friend…and for my community.  Is this wrong?  I just have this massive burden on my heart.  Its weird.  And in a way bothersome.  I wish I understood it.  HMMM….i really need to vent!!!!!

Im holding eight seeds right now in my hand.  I have to admit that I am a little amazed at what God just told me thru them.  Why you ask?  A little boy named Corbin just gave them to me and I had forgotten they were in my pocket.  He is four years old and has blonde hair and blue eyes.  He is one of the kids I had a chance to hang out with on Saturday at the Micro Mission.  Its funny I wasnt even expecting to hang out with them.  I started out in Landscaping and ended up meeting this family while I was working in the garden.  I met his older sister Anna (7) and ended up hanging out with her family all day.  Im not gonna lie I loved meeting his older sister anna ( me and another lifechurcher Misty had the oppurtunity to hang out with her).  It was an amazing day.  But I honestly left thinking in my head…”did I really make a diference?”.  Did I really do anything good.  I mean it was just one day.  One day.  Thats it.  So I said my good byes and honestly was really frustrated. 

Then I looked in my pocket the next day.  In them were 8 seeds.  Corbin had given them to me and Mike (misti’s husband) while we were sitting under a tree.  He had found them on the ground and desided that it would be a good gift to give to us.  I will never forget him counting them out.  This is yours he said…one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight!!!!  It was so cute.  I stuffed the seeds in my pocket and honestly forgot about them.  Then today as I was thinking and honestly finding myself frustrated and wondering if I had actually made a diffence I looked at those seeds.  And God slapped me on the head and said, “Sarah you may not have made a diffence…but you planted a seed….and you know what…im gonna make it grow now.”  I cried when I found them.  Because honestly I felt so selfish. Its not about me.  There is nothing that I can ever do…to change things.  Its about Jesus…He is the one who does the changing.  Lord forgive me for thinking diffently. 

If you are reading this blog…pray for Corbin, Anna, Kevin, and Brian.  Pray that God take that seed that was planted and turn it into the BIG tree that produced them.  Pray that God make those children steadfast in Christ!!!!!  Thats all I ask. 

This has been an amazing weekend of rest and time with family.  It is going to be hard to leave tommorow!!!!!

So here is the Thursday happenings (bad grammer sorry will fix later):

• Ryan picks me up at my house to take me to the airport
• Ryans car breaks down at the Santa Clause Shop 10 min away from airport an hour before flight
• Corbin comes to my rescue and takes me to my flight while poor little Ryan waits for a tow
• I finnally get to gate 9 were I am supposed to fly out…and they tell me that that flight was canceled and that they didnt want us flying on that plane because the landing gear wouldnt come down (haha you can imagine my reaction)…
• They send me to new flight in gate 10 were flight is an hour later but still headed to Houston
• I fall asleep and wake up to these loud sirens saying “WARNING WARNING PLEASE HEAD TO THE NEAREST EXIT THERE IS A FIRE” haha you can imagine my reaction at this point to
• Well I headed to exit and they wouldnt let us out.  At my gate I could see little men who were dressed head to toe in silver lining suits…ummm can anyone say YIKES!!!!!
• So needless to say they tell us by the end of the day that it must have been a false alarm and I get on my flight home to Houston….
• WOW WHAT A DAY
• OH AND FOUND OUT TODAY THAT AFTER CORBIN DROPPED ME OFF THAT NIGHT HE RAN OVER SOMETHING AND BOTH OF HIS FRONT TIRES BLEW OUT…AND THE FUNNY OF IT IS HE HAD TO CALL RYAN WITH HIS TEMPORARY CAR TO PICK HIM UP…HMMM…AM I CURSED?

Check out this Christian Church in Dallas. It is my former youth ministers new church. He is the campus pastor at one of new campuses that will be opening up in september. They are like us in that they are One church with multi campuses. As we are doing this one prayer series I thought it would be good to shout out this church. Pray for them. They are very young in this multi church idea and perspective. Great things seem to be happening though with them. I am excited for them!!!!

Ok so I have a new challege for myself and Im kind of excited.  Pray that I follow thru with it.  I am going to every week try three new things that I have never tried before. 

I am 26 years old today…and I am so so thankful!!!!!
