My mom watched the service online (live) this weekend (which is kind of cool thinking we technically did go to church together but didnt )  She said she will continue to watch the services live…and that she enjoyed it!!!!  She said she picked an interesting time to start though (with this series being focused on men)(but she does agree and like the series)!!!!  I am so pumped

Psalm 68:19:  “blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation”

What an amazing scripture!!!!  I pray that you realize that today. That He bears our burdens DAILY for us and that you are NOT alone.  That He is walking side by side with you thru this.  Whatever that may be.  And that He is fighting for you today!!!

My mom emailed me yesterday asking me what time the  services online were for Life Church (my family lives in Houston) and if they had one on Sunday (I laughed at that because I cant wait to tell her to take her pick….we have 8 to choose from)…this is huge!!!!  Keep praying!!!!   

Ok so my title is interesting I have lies on one side and truth on the other!!!! WOW!!!!

I was really negative in my last post and selfish so I apologize!!!!  I am thankful though for all of the prayers and also encourgement!!!!  I will keep speaking these truths please pray that they eventually “take root” and that I dont give up!!!! 

Here are a few truths I got from your comments….please understand I dont nessasarily believe these but I pray that one day I will:

TRUTH: ITS NOT ABOUT YOU

TRUTH: YOU MAY FEEL WEAK BUT CHRIST STRENGTH IS IN YOU SO TAKE HOPE IN THAT BECAUSE THRU THAT YOU ARE STRONG!!!!

TRUTH: TRUTH IS TRUTH NO MATTER WHO BELIEVES IT OR WHAT OTHERS THINK!!!! IT DOES NOT CHANGE (I Dont know why but I like that statement) (i am unsure if thats what you meant anna)!!!!

So what do you guys think of these truths?  What are some truths God is speaking into your life right now? ALSO what is truth in your eyes?  What does it mean to you? Is it important do you think in this BATTLE is it key?

whats the point in speaking these stupid truths!!!! they lead to nowhere and they are not important if one cannot live them up!!!!  What good are my words if they do not echo my actions?  What good are they?  What good is it to say there will be victory today….if those words end up not being true.  What good is it?  Im tired of this stupid cycle….im tired of not being believed in…im tired of it all!!!!! Im frustrated and offended!!!! Call this post selfishness I do not care!!!!! Im tired of it all!!!! Last night frustrated me….

Question: What does it mean to “lose ones life so to find it”….and what does it mean to “take up ones cross”?  What does it look like?  I realize I only have two people really that post on my blog…but I would love comments.  What has it looked like in your life?  Do you live up to those scriptures?  I dont…esp this weekend!!!!!  I was selfish…and I regret it!!!!!  Please share!!!!  Share stories if you have them!!!

ISAIAH 61:1-3

This is incredible scripture read it!!!!  My favorite part is the part that says he will give you a crown of beauty instead of ashes.  What a GLORIOUS picture of transformation.  To me it shows me the truth that God can and will do the impossible in your life.  What we think is impossible God sees as possible.   Pray that I believe this truth today!!!!

I am terrible at remmembering names.  Honestly if I could get a grade for remembering names it would be a big fat F!!!!  My Kamp Director (Joe White) though he was great at it.  He would say there first and last names over and over again.  He also to help would ask what there meaning of there name was (he did a talk on it once).  It was awesome how just remembring the meaning of a name helped to remember the name!!!!!  This brings several questions to mind…..  

Does a name define you?  Is it who you are?  And do you often find it hard to live up to your name?  I look at scripture and I see how God put such value in names.  Saul to Paul….Cephas to Peter….Abram to Abraham and the list goes on.  Each one of these names had meanings and each one in some way or another defined who they were.  So does it define you?  And why do we have a tendency to forget names? Why does it help to put the meaning with name?  Does anyone else suffer from name amnesia like I do?  Any suggestions?
